johnson dies out after 10mins

my 73 johnson 65 hp runs great then dies out after ten minutes and wont restart till the next morning. it doesn't sputter or anything. just shuts off like the key turns off. please help me figure out this issue, thanks

Vent not working on the fuel tank? Can you pump the fuel bulb and keep it going longer? Is it overheating? Feel the block/head to see if it's running hot. Is there spray coming out of the rear leg? Check spark to see if you still have spark when it stops. There's several things it can be.

Check for spark next time it shuts down. If you have no spark, I would suspect a wire short somewhere.

i have no spark on all three cylinders when it dies out. i feel like its not overheating. whe ni run it on the muffs in the yard water comes out all the holes and comes out the exhaust.
