Johnson 88SPL lower end

I'm looking for disassembly spec for a Johnson 88 SPL, 4cyl., 88 horse power.<br />I need to replace my lower end and I have some questions.<br />Any help re: used lower end or spec's would be appreciated.<br />Thanks..

Hi Sonya<br />The best thing to do is aqiure a repair manual that covers your motor. Odds are it will be less expencive and more productive to repair the lower unit you have than try to replace it with a used one of unknown origin. If your do the job your self or hire it out at least you will know what you have.
