Johnson 75 V4 serial number look up

I believe I have a 1960 Johnson 75 V4 but I can locate the model number. The number on the welch plug is 2141067

I have not been able to find a cross reference to the model number. Anyone have a source to match to the model number and year to this serial number

It is an electric start manual shift model

It used to be, a long time ago, that they produced a dealer catalog that cross referenced the serial number to a model number. You had to be a dealer to get one. Maybe check with your local dealer and see if anything is still around.

Do you have the original transom brackets? If so, there should be a plate with the model number stamped onto it as in the pic.

Thank you for the information. My plat was painted over but after I new where to look I was able to get it cleaned off. Thank you
