I have 1999 Johnson/Evinrude 70 4 stroke..it rans perfectly all last season.
We treated the fuel over the winter with Sta-Bil and changed the oil this season. Got it in the water this weekend...starts and runs okay up to around 4K...higher rpms it misses and seems to act like its going to quit. Could this be the remnants of the fuel stablilizer?? thanks.
