Johnson 50hp need to find year

Was just given a Johnson Sea-horse 50hp motor, but I don't know what year it is and really need to find out so I can order a manual for it. Anyone that can help me please do. The model # is V4S-11A. It came on a 63 Wizard and I think it is the motor that was officially on the boat, but would like to know for sure.

It's a 1959 "fat fifty". Good power but friggin' heavy and a gas guzzler... 24:1 mixture, tcw-3 oil... I have the parts manual for it if you PM me with your email address I will send it to you.
