I was taking this apart to reverse the handle ,and this spring, and small plastic part that I have circled fell out.I cant seem to tell where it came from. Can someone please Help?

The spring goes over the plunger of that safety switch. There is also another piece that goes into the "U" shaped portion of the item on the other end of that spring. See item # 13.
However.... I do believe that it DOES NOT belong in the control box you have pictured but rather in a earlier model control box. Notice the shape of the control boxes.
