I have a 1955 5 hp johnson what are the interchange options for lateryear 7.5 10 hp power heads. Is there a source for interchange of parts. thanks. Dom
A 7.5 powerhead of the same year will bolt on, but the 5.5 hood won't fit. In fact a Johnson hood won't fit an evinrude without changing some other parts such as the cylinder head. 10hp fit? No way.
