hi could anyone tell me the correct gas/oil ratio for johnson 20hp 1969

Would this be the same for a 20hp Johnson from the 80's???

The older the motor, the less it hurts to add in an extra helping of oil. I run 40:1 in my old outboards.

There is also a pinned thread on the forums here about oil/gas ratios.
