Johnson 2001 90hp starting issues

I recently bought a pontoon with a 2001 johnson 90hp. I do not know if I have 1 problem or 2. At times nothing happens with I turn the key to start it. I wiggle key and shift gears back and forth and then eventually it starts fine. the other issue is that if it happens to stall out when in forward gear, when I move the shifter back into nuetral, it starts the engine back up without me even turning the key. ANy suggestions

Problem 1 is most likely a flaky neutral safety switch. Not at all uncommon. Number 2 though....that's just weird. Maybe you've got a sticky ignition switch or something.
