Johnson 1995 70hp no spark

Good morning my johnson no sparo on the 3. CDI is ok. Stator Have 400ohm fron orange to orange-yellow word. and 0 ohm from brown to brown-yellow. Is correct? Thanks

Charge the battery and have battery load tested.----Fact---If flywheel turns slow there will be no spark generated.

DVA cranking voltage is the only way to know for sure if you need an expensive part replaced. You can use a meter without one, but must be rated to handle it, and then add 30% to that highest number you get will bring you in the ballpark. should be right around 175-250v DVA or so depending. do the same for the sensor coil and primary output of power pack to each coil.

thanks, do I have to do the measurement with DVA only by turning the starter motor, or with the engine running?

Insert two brad nail into connector and retest. Dont think your probes are getting deep enough to read
