I started working on this motor this summer. Hasn't been wet for about 5 years. Running high on idle @2500 rpm on hose. Chased out some air leaks etc. Pulled carbs, hoses, gaskets to manifold.
The primer fittings below had no threads at all and were tapered as if "push in." The ports were not threaded either. Carbs with fittings pic and fittings out of carb.

Had some experience with go kart racing carbs that had press fit brass fittings. Had to be sure they are round and true to seal properly.

My confusion is the part reference shows them threaded. I want to replace whereas they are not checked or filtered. Anyone with further insight appreciated.

why would they be filtered? if you are worried put a little loctite on them and press them back in. You pulled them out and they weren't threaded then. Why would they be threaded back in? They are just a primer nipple. Stop overthinking this

Im not over thinking it, yes they are push in so does anyone on this forum have a part number. What a bunch of back talk.

There are quite a few sites that show part # on the --" cylinder / crankcase "---Parts page.----Easy to look up I think.---Starts with 325

Yes though unfortunately they are all shown threaded. I guess I'll take a shot with the one shown for fit.
On another note parts started arriving so got some time in breaking down the reeds.
Appreciate your help.

Well---Item #11 for a 1988 model 225 is listed at $9.86 on one site.---Part # starts with 325 .

Found that part # on 2 different sites at the $9.86 factory price.

Thanks Faz, will do. Ant type of adhesive or sealant recommended.
Do any of you guys have any thoughts on my manual saying to use check valves?
I think if I need checks I could just put them in line with the tees or related fittings.
These fittings are not checked. Will that cause a problem? What came out aren't checked either.

Primer nipples are free flow as when the primer is off it is the check valve.
