Johnson 150 vs 115

Will a 1993 Johnson 115 bolt on the transom with the same hole pattern as the 150? How about compatability of the controls and harness? I just purchased a boat that has a shot 150 and I want to replace it with a 115.

Your '93 should have the four 1/2" bolt standard pattern. If the 115HP is mid-80s or newer, it should have the same pattern. The controls will work if the new motor is the same year or close. Controls changed in '96, I believe.

The key to the controls are at the plug. Compare the plug at the motor end
