johnson 115hp controls

Hey guys
can anyone tell me if a 1973 115hp controls will fit on a 1975 115hp motor..
My 73' motor is shot... and i found a running 75' without controls!!! any help would be great!!!

thanks for the info.... hopefully i can get this motor before its gone... 4 1/2 hrs away from me... prolly have to wait till next weekend...

Ezmobee is correct. The big red plugs are the same. You did not metion if it has power tilt if your old motor did not and the new one dose you will have to run a wire and a switch.

he said it has an inoperable aftermarket power tilt trim... so i'll just remove that or see if i can get a new motor if one is still available...

plug and play, besure the harness has not been cut on the motor side.
