Johnson 115 problems

I have a 94 Johnson 115HP that didn't have a spark until I pulled the flywheel and cleaned up the stater. Now it sparks but gas (liquid) is coming out of the exhaust by the prop and it won't start. Help before I cause more damage.....thanks.

Is there fuel running out of the carbs also? Remove the plugs and spin the engine over, does a lot of gas come out of the cylinders?

Sounds like carb/s are in need of overhaul. Is it flooding the engine with fuel? If so rebuild carb/s. post back your results!

Sounds like it's time for a carb rebuild. And, for the record, I said that long before Daviet or Monte did, just something wrong with my computer (yeah....that's it)
