Re: JB has troubles,

Is it possible under the circumstances to get the media to help?

I hope for a good outcome and as someone previously mentioned, his condition might actually keep him from being harmed.

Re: JB has troubles,

JB....I was stationed at McCord Air Force Base just outside Tacoma for almost a year. Buddy, I got to tell ya', there's a lot of area up there to get lost in. The reaction to the medication is equally troubling. The toxins in the medication don't always just "go away" and can linger. They usually spring up unexpectadely as they did in Lance's case. The stress of being shipped out may have been the trigger. My guess (and the one I'm praying for) is that he will turn up on foot in some town within driving distance or gas range of the car, disoreinted and confused. JB, my heart goes out to you and yours. I know what it is you are going through....from personnal experience.

Re: JB has troubles,

jb- sorry to hear your news. prayers are with you. my only advise is that you and your family pursue the media idea and work closely with the police. i doubt you will get much help from the military. desertion rates are the highest they have been since vietnam, and the military just doesn't have the time or resources to pursue every one right now. don't expect much from that side. again, sorry and good luck-

It goes without saying that we are heart-sick for you and your family, and for him as well! It's great that so many of our Forum members have already jumped on to offer help. If there is anything additionally that we can do, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you put a picture of him up. At times like this please know that we want to do all that we can to help. Certainly our prayers are with you and the whole family. But if there are other positive actions that we can take, just let us know! BV
