I am wanting to build a center console for my boat, and I read all the posts concerning building a console, but I did not see any dimensions to build one.<br /><br />This is my plan, to build one that is high enough that I can stand up and run, but low enough that I can sit also. I figured around 36" tall. Does this sound right? Jason, what are the dimensions of the console in Skanky Beast?

The one I just built is 36"tall for the same reasons...just a Thought

take a look at mine. mine is 36" tall, 14" wide at the bottom but overall width of 18" (you can see the shape of it).<br /><br />It will fit a 12 gallon gas tank and battery.<br /><br />look at my main whaler page listed below and scroll down to the finished pictures.

I have been fighting the Sasser virus-I'd like to throttle the little ******* that unleashed that hell. Anyway, I am fairly sure mine is about 36 inches, but to be honest I had mocked everything for a comfortable height and cut everything from there.
