I need to replace the roller and install bow guard and do a little gel coat touch up. I have a triton fiberglass bass boat. I was wondering the safest way to jack the bow of the boat up off of the roller? Any info would help. I am pretty clueless so detailed instruction would be appreciated.

If you're just lifting the bow, raise the trailer tongue as high as it will go with the tongue jack, put a jack stand with a piece of wood under the keel or wood blocks under the keel and lower the tongue jack until you have the room you need. Make sure you chock the tires.

I would block it near the bow roller where you still have room to change the roller.
