can any one tell me how much mph is gained with a jackplate?

Varies by application, most who use jackplates, use them for the skinny water advantage. As far as mph, you're probably looking in the 4-8 mph gain when trimmed and jacked to perfect conditions.

thanks for the info. would you happen to know what prop pitch would be the best for a suzuki 115 on a 16ft skeeter v-hull??
