isolator

Has anyone installed one on their boat? Trying to figure out if the isolator is bad or if there are hidden connections that need to be made?

I have a battery isolator on my boat and it works great.
Run your alternator output wire to the common post on your battery isolator.
Then hook battery one to output one and battery 2 to output 2.

That is what I did. must be bad isolator

Is it charging neither battery or just one? You could be 100% sure by checking it with a meter while the engine is running.
