I hardy ever come here anymore because since the new format has been here it takes between 15 and 30 seconds for anything to happen every time I click my mouse.

Sometimes it takes a while to load pages. Most of the time it is pretty quick.

Your Dial Up too ? OMC, we kinda got left behind, OH well its in the name of progress, when a few hundred thousand more people move out here in the sticks, I`ll have a choice.

Hit and miss here too OMC... right now it's very good, other times it's slow like you described. I have a broadband ISP connection too.

I don't know if it's the server, the software or the alotted bandwidth but this place runs like a stiff turd.

sometimes slow if the page will load at all! And I miss the functionality of the old search :/

Its been getting worse the last few weeks.
Often have to try to reload the page, several times.

And millions of dollars of info is lost in the search mine fields.

Yes...the hosting of this website is absolutely pathetic. I have a 10mbps internet connection and it's still slow most of the time. Not only that but it keeps excluding people from around the world for some unknown reason. There is no excuse for it to have gone on this long. It shows a huge lack of respect by iboats of it's members and customers.

I have DSL, the highest speed I could get, and yes, this site is sloooow. In fact, sometimes even slower than eBay. And yes, it used to be faster before the format change.

I have to Agree,..... I'm on TWCable Too,.....
This is the Absolute Slowest site on the Entire Web...........

Not to mention the # of Long, 1 Fingered Posts that Never See the light of Day,......
It's Really Frustrating,..........

No excuse and no good reason for that bash, ZmOz. You are waaaay out of line.

iboats has spent a bundle trying to get us a better board, and is still spending. They got blindsided by a program that was a disaster. Turns out we are beta testing a new and unproven product.

Many of the problems have been fixed. . . by iboats. . .and there are more fixes in the works, also devised by iboats 'puter guru at iboats' expense.

A new version of Search should be online any day now.

We appreciate that so many are hanging in with us. For those who don't think iboats cares about you, we will try to get you a refund.

You know-- the ol load*.*,8,1, git up and make a cuppa joe, and come back.
Yes, I have the same problem here on DSL... Between 10-45 seconds per click.

Hummmm I use dail-up but with a web accelerator works just fine,same as before,check out the free accelerators might help you guys out,Only thing that bugs me is trying to move on in the same forum won't move have to go to an other one then back errrrr

With all due respect JB, do you have any idea what it takes to run a website? I do, because it's my job, and my business. A problem like this does not take months and months to fix. If a customer's website (and forum, I do a lot of those) was running like this for more than a day or two they would be jumping down my throat. And what about all the people in various countries that can't get in because of IP issues? That problem has been here since before the software change. They don't care.

I just want to add that wild horses couldn't drag me away from my buds here.. The speed of the page loading is a mere annoyance.
