The reason why we have a republican president today,is because he listened to the religious right(whatever that is).That same religious right claims that a women should be subserviant to her husband.In other words,women should obey men because that is what is written in the bible.The religious right would never support a women candidate because a female president in the white house would mean the end of religious male supremacy.
