Actually...I was chopping myself a hole at the target and a voice from above said "there is no fish there". I moved a few yards away and the voice repeated the same thing. Happened a few more times. Next thing I knew I had guys with pads, helmets, and skates after me.

After I get rid of these black eyes and can see again....I'm sticking to fishing the river and ocean from now on. You guys are out of my league.

I think it is still winter. The white stuff on the Detroit River is a pretty good indicator. Pictures of my home port, Brumon Marina in A-burg.





The pic show the best local fishing hole for three days a year. You can catch 8-10 lbs Walleyes for three to fours day a year all day long. Just have to wait for the tulips to blooms in the spring. Just a hint for us locals...... Just need to jig of hand line for them.

I just started my wife's car and mine to warm them a bit. They were not happy but fired up. Today we are supposed to reach +3 but tomorrow a +25.......... actually the whole week looks ugly.

You have my vote.....Yes, please send some heat our way......... uhhhhhhh the sooner the better

I guess I'm getting a little soft. It's so bad for the rest of you guys I won't mention that it's going to be 77 here today. I was cold taking the trash cans out to the curb last night as the concrete stung a little with bare feet.

It got All the way up to 0? this afternoon, before it started droppin' again....
It's a balmy -4? at the moment....

Atleast my homemade owb is Roarin', 'n it's an honest 70? here at my desk....

It most assuredly is still winter. There is still 2 months of official winter left. We're not half way through yet. Last night at this time it was 3 degrees, tonight it is 29 degrees a whole lot warmer. I can handle 29, 3 is just a little to cold IMO.

Here is my favorite summer place - Lake Erie - and she is all iced up. Maybe time for some ice fishing though.

I was just up at my place in Tahoe and even there it is a balmy 52 degrees. Weird weather extremes this year.
