Found some paint at BW while browsing what they had left. I'm sure neither is my color but it might be close enough. If not I could get the clearer color and ad tint to it. Y'all let me know if that work and what tint I need to find...

The had quarts of:
Interlux premium yacht enamel 242 flat white for $10.00. This paint was described as hard, high gloss topside finish.
Interlux brightside polyurethane 4381 off-white quart for $13.00. This paint was described as premium single part enamel.

I gather I could use either with the roll n tip method. I'm sure that is enough to treat that bow. In case they don't match my color what can I use to make that flat white darker? What type of tint?

I got a Evercoat coloring agent 100505 (sunset yellow) for 1.90 which I plan to use in the babcock repair. Could I use that agent to darken the flat white interlux paint? That would be ideal if possible. They have more of those colors. Was tempted to get a few more for future projects! :)

As usual, thanks for the advise.

Flat White means no gloss, is that what you want? Odd it would say flat white and high gloss on the label.

Re: Interlux paint

I talked to the folks at Interlux about tinting and the answer was no but you can mix two different colors of the same product to get the color you want.

No tinting then. It might be a bit hard to blend those colors. It would be nice if cobia would use a color easy to match. They had no "gel coat" left.
