Alpha 1 gen 1, 260/350 5.7,
I have replaced the lower shift cable now its time to put the outdrive back but, the remote is in forward as needed to remove the outdrive, should I install it in forward or neutral ?
Re: installing outdrive after replacing shift cable
The throttle and drive needs to be in forward. Pull the shift out and turn the prop counter clockwise, then put a bungy on it to hold. It can be done without the bungy but prop needs to be held in position while installing.
