I'm going to cut the deck out of my 20' 1984 proline center console. The storage compartments and anchor locker in the front as well as the deck are molded in to the liner. I've been told that I would be better to leave the liner in and cut the deck out verses pulling the liner. And when replacing the deck to glass the deck in to the actual hull. then cut the liner leaving a lip at the top of the gunnels. which would give me several inches of room extra in the deck. I'm open to suggestions on this, so feel free to chime in. thanks michael.
