Price wise and what needs doing, it depends....
if you are replacing the bellows to avoid a failure, it hasn't leaked yet, why then replace the gimble bearing? Mine was last replaced in 2005, the bellows was replaced 2x since then, preventative maintenance, absolutely no reason to change it if its still smooth.
Shift cable? well I have the same shift cable in my Cobra as when I bought it, in 2002, its been adjusted 2x, once in 2004 and once again in 2013, shifts perfect with 2 finger pressure. Why replace? I again see no need.
The bellows replacement takes me about 1.5 hrs I take my time to make sure it is really on there right. Here in Long Island that would be approx $225-$300 depending on how many hrs they will quote for it (vs what it actually takes) with an averge labor rate of $150/hr. So for doing the other things listed in that thread, gimble and shift cable, the 800-900 price may be fair.
It's GOOD to know how to fix your own stuff!
