How difficult is it to change impeller on a 50 hp Merc circa 1973?I have changed one on my 3.6 merc.How much more difficult is it on the 50? any tips would be great Thanks
Not normally a hard job.<br />The only problems you may encounter would be.. if the L/U has not been off within say 5 years, or the motor is used mostly in salt water, the drive shaft may be a bit stuck in the crank shaft. It may be a bit hard to get off.
