Impeller shim availaility

Im replacing my outdrive after inspection and can't find the shim for the water impeller, is that part available or do i need to buy the whole pump? tried to find it on schematic and didn't, or what I should say is the piece is listed in exploded drawing but the p/n below the drawing do not look like the shim/key I need. Thaks

Since impellers don't use shims, you need to ask about the right part. Not sure what you are talking about.

If you're talking about the impellor drive key that locks the impellor to the shaft, it's number 36 on the pic here, part number 28-56654. Any dealer can order you one for $2 or $3.
