Impeller kit number?

Looking for an impeller kit for a 1985 Johnson 70hp, model# J70TLCOS. Anybody know the kit number?

Motor still has its VRO but I'm going to delete it and run premix

Do these older Johnsons have an alarm to let you know if the VRO stops working? That seems to be everybody's concern.

How many wires on your pump? If you have 4 wires, you have the updated pump. If you have 3 wires you have the original pump and you should immediately go to pre mix.

The original 1985 VRO may not have had a " no oil " warning feature.----The VRO is a simple device.----Easy to take apart for inspection / testing.-----Post the compression test values before you spend any $$ on this motor.

The no oil warning module did not come out until 86 models.----An upgrade kit was available for 85 models.----But there is huge $$$ involved for new bits.----Used VRO units are " dime a dozen " in some areas.-----Take the time to get this right.-----Here I would go to a " parts motor > and install a refurbished regular pump.----Or a refurbished VRO pump at very little expense !
