I decided to go throughmy picture hosting site and delete the pictures I had already posted and would not need again. I now find out, after deleting 60 of my 110 pics that, once deleted a pic doesn't show up on iboats anymore. So I try to go to my pic hosting site to see if I can restore them. But wait, my browser is giving me trouble, and, I cannot log on to my pic hosting site on my backup browser. Now I am really p!$$ed. So I do a system restore to when my browser did work. Nope. Still dead. REALLY p!$$ed. So I get permission to get on moms computer. After fighting with it for a while I decide their is no way to restore the pics.

The problem BB is that the image is directly linked to your hosting site. Even if you did restore the pics, they'd have to have the exact same url (path) to that picture.

Like this one from the HOTD http://www.picturehosting.org/images/ bassboy1/a_59.jpg

That same picture has to be named the same in that exact path (order).

Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

bassboy, if you deleted them from where you had them hosted, then they are gone.
You will have to upload them again somewhere and then get the url to them and go and edit your posts and insert the new url for them to show up.

Yeah, I know. This was more of a rant than a question on how to get them back. I am not sure that I am gonna go back and refind all 60 pics, and then refind where I posted them either. It seems like a lot of trouble for such small benefit. They weren't any boat pics. All were in SHT or DC so it won't effect the technical topics.

I had that problem looking for those undieless Britney Spears pics a few weeks back. A lot of sites that had them zapped them due to inappropriate content. So were you pictures of naked boat motors or what?
