I have a 1984 merc 75hp w/power trim, is it possable to find a factory replacement ignition switch and would it have the push to choke feature. If it can be found where?
I just replaced the ignition switch on my 75 hp merc (2003 year) and it was Off/Run/Start and Push to choke. I found one at the local dealer for $19.95 and installed. Has a lot of wires so I just one wire/wires off a lug at a time. My had four lug on outside perimeter and 2 on inside.
