First thing you need is a Mercruiser service manual, if you ask some nice folks on here will give you the download info.
Most everything you ever wanted to know about your 3.0 will be in there. I could not survive without mine as I do my own work. I put mine on my thumb drive and can recall any page needed to do the service required.
