Idling and Throttle Body on 200 hp?

My 1987 200 hp Evinrude does not idle after a long run; Idles great cold and runs great otherwise. When warm the idle slows down until stopping. This is a big problem in a marina! Advancing the throttle will pick-up the idle. I have decided to rebuild my six carbs to hopfully correct this problem. When removing the carbs I noticed that the throttle body is a separate unit with three throttle 'butterflies' all housed into the single assembly. The manual mentions removing a welch plug to clean the 'calibration pocket' on the throttle body, but I don't want to dig into this if it is not necessary. In addition the carb rebuild kits I bought don't include the welch plug or thottle body gaskets so I'll have to find these somewhere. Hopfully these be purchased separately from a kit. Does anyone know if I need to remove the throttle body assembly and clean it to correct the 'fading' idle problem? Thanks in advance.

Should be a hole in the throttle body, that you can spray engine tuner/sea form thru and it will come out thru the pocket into the throttle bore. With the throttle plate open you should be able to see the spray.
