Identification of Boat

Hi

I suspect this boat is a 1973 Vanguard TR or TRII? Does anyone know? The engine that came off was a johnson 50 from 1973.

If its a 1973, it should have a HIN molded into the gelcoat @ the back starboard corner of the transom.

That'll get you the maker and a year, a length should tell you the model.

Once you confirm year and maker look the specs up here

If it really is a Vanguard, its not on the maker list I linked....

Here is some info on HIN's

Usually it would be located upper right (starboard) on the transom just below the rubrail. 1972 was the first year for HIN's, so if you can't find one, the boat may be older than 1972. Got any paperwork with the boat?
