Marshall had 25 players enter the portal when Coach Charlie Huff moved on to another school. So Louisiana Tech (5-6) replaced them and will play Army in the Independence Bowl.

When they declare for the portal they are giving up their scholarship. Their “free ride” at their university is over at the end of the semester. They can go back to the school they were playing when they declared, but the school is under no obligation to extend their scholarship. In Pribula’s case, he is graduating after this semester, I believe, so he will be a graduate of PSU and still have 2 years of eligibility left, I believe. I don’t believe that Allar will be back next year, but maybe he will be. I don’t know. But some of the draft crystal balls feel that Allar would go I. The first round if he entered the draft this year.
