Iboat forums slow - Just me?

I did not see this referenced, but pages take 1-3 minutes to load.

Seems to be doing this since last week.

Actually today I have found it faster

I think allot of it depends on your connection, the iboats servers and pure luck

i'm on my wireless computer right now and it takes maybe 3 or 4 seconds to load a page. this is normal for my wireless.

using Mozilla Foxfire, really improve my speed. using internet explorer is really slow. also right now there are 533 people online, on the forum. it use to be the system would crash with 300. we have a much heavier load this time of year.

Boy, something's up (or not up)!

This reply page took amost 5 minutes to load!

I have 3mb DSL and most pages at all other sites will load in about 1 second.

Very strange.

Maybe I'll log off and back on to iboats forums. I have not done that in a long while.

Almost instant page loading here, reply page took even less time. Dunno but seems fine on the east side.

Its been slow for me also for about 2 weeks now. A bit faster the last couple of days. I am using fire fox and a DSL connection. Most other sights load in under a second. Just putting in my input.

Sometimes slow, the rest of the time dang near dead. Never even close to quick.

Ahhh, but iboats is worth it.

I got a few "server busy" messages the other day. Most of the time I get pretty fast up and down speeds.

One thing that I appreciate about the iboats forum, is that the webmaster seems to keep ahead of expanding demand pretty well. I belong to a number of other forums and special interest web sites that have forums, and some don't so such a good job as they grow.

So ...... so far, it works for me!

Not nearly as slow as a few months ago. I stopped coming here for a while because I couldn't stay logged in between refreshes. They were taking way too long.

I'm having no problem now. I may hang here more often.

iboats website comes up in 2-3 seconds. A week ago my computer was very slow for a couple of days thought maybe had virus,ran my virus and every other guard control and now it is back to opening in seconds.
