IAC solenoid 60hp EFI 2012

My Merc 2012 60hp EFI as a tremor (hesitancy) at idle. It does not stop but could be smoother.
Here in Canada, a new IAC solenoid will cost over 100$.
This part is easily accessible, can we carefully clean it?
If I have to change for a new one, is it a easy ''plug and start'' process or is there a reset procedure.
NB: No YouTube on this subject for Mercury Outboard

I googled it, looks fairly easy to remove and reinstall the solinoid. JUST BE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST. If this link works, there is a test you can do to be sure it is the solinoid. It sounds like when they go bad, they are done and cleaning might not help. $100 sound pretty cheap for any boat part LOL ;-) Good luck.

IAC = Idle Air Control solenoid ... not the starter solenoid

Oh, I'm sorry I misread your post. I'll see if I can locate something on that.
