I think I'm officially over the hill

Mrs. Tyme and I had some friends over for dinner and the male half of that couple and I planned on watching the BCS bowl after dinner.

Here's where the senior citizen part kicks in.
Mrs.Tyme has been working on a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle for a few days. The other couple see it and start to help in putting it together. We laughed and hooted and had a great time assembling the puzzle (watching the game too). I told the other couple that one had to shout "Eureka" whenever a piece was found. So all of us shouted and laughed and had a great time putting together an old fashioned jigsaw puzzle.

I think I am officially over the hill.

Maybe shouting "Eureka" is the give away?

It was easy for me to tell. My daughter said " Dad, I could tell you were getting old when you stopped shooting birds and started feeding them".

Watching the game is mindless.

Putting a puzzle together actually makes you think, look and discover. What a concept!

I'd have done the latter (puzzle).
