Over the weekend I hit a rock, the scrape is small and under boat at tail end of transom area. (what ever that part is called?) I am thinking some thickend gel coat should take care of it or should I do somthing else? for repair

if you want to blend it and hide it, get a small gel patch kit

its not deep enough to worry about, I would go boating

I patched similar damage on my hull with MarineTex and it actually color matched the older white gel coat pretty darn well.

Agreed. I had some keel damage from the PO beaching and used the Spectrum Gel Coat paste and you can hardly tell

Not much of an issue that I see. Do one of the above suggestions and you will be fine. No real damage there that I can see. JMHO
