I need manuals and more......

I need help finding manuals that I can download for the following.

Mercruiser, Alpha 1
260/V8 w/Thunderbolt ignition

Transom asy.#A557755
Drive Unit#0A623960

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Also my brother and I recently aquired a Regal Ambassador 255XL that needs a Shift Cable Bellows. Its only logical to change all the Bellows at the same time. My question is, can two guys with no experience working on boats but that are mechanically inclined handle the job? Any kind of info regarding special tools, secrets of the trade, part house recommendation, etc. would also be greatly appreciated.

After you download the manuals, you will have the ability to figure out if you have the tools and knowhow to do the job.
MANY parts can be purchased right here at iboats.

Thanks Don. That will be a big help. I also saw one of your posts with a drawing to make an alignment tool. I will be putting that to use as well. Once again thanks for your help.
