I cant find the correct manual HELP....

Hi All,

I have an outboard Mercury 2 stroke 60hp SN: 9596063.

I have a problem find the correct manual, I’ve followed all web site a can find and I have the same problem in ever thing I can find.

The problem is when I look at the exploded diagram of the crank the lower bearing crank layout is incorrect for my engine.

If you I look on the Mercury marine parts finder, I can find my version as shown in the below Pic 1 but every manual I look at for my SN: 9596063 it only shows the layout in Pic 2.

Can some point to manual to show the Pic1 layout, as I’m need as im lost.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
im not after a part or part number im looking for the correct service manual for sn:9596063.

i cant see any manuals on crowleymarine and on there SN search my SN can not be found.

:(

tha manual i listed is for an '84.. its tha first year showing your crank assy.

this is number for a '90.. it also shows your assy. but may show a lot of tha special tools need ta work on this motor..

go here and check parts ta compare with your motor.... that should confirm tha year...

looks like your type crank assy. (pic 1) started in '84 and ended in '90.. '91 up shows tha other design (pic. 2)................
