I have suspended my ministry to try tell people how Bush salvaged the US economy with tax breaks that Clinton trashed with his promised tax cut that materialized as the largest tax increase in the history of humanity. I have tried to tell people about the way federal entitlements ensalve Americans rather than free them to persue exelence on there own behalf. I read Mien Kamf (sp?) and the Communist Manifesto, and have seen the results of this philosophy. I have been preaching self reliance when the the entire whieght of the DNC has been outspoken in preaching dependance on the federal government. I have invested in my fellow man and created tax payers while the democratic party has promised to give economic incentives for having children you can't afford.

On my own I can argue and defete the socialist policies of the democratic party, but I am no match for the DNC, and the repulican party is made up of snivelling spineless suck-ups just hoping for some crumbs left over from the soicialist monoliths on Capitol Hill. What have I done? What have I wasted? America is dead. The country that I grew up in is gone forever. Buried under the ash-heap of history that is being rebuilt on American soil. Ted Kennedy can say "lie after lie after lie after lie..." when plenty of democrats were on the Senate Intelligence Commitee and privilaged to all the intel that Bush had. The lies that pour unabated out of the democratic pary have simply overwhelmed the senses of the eclectorate.

Let Kerry win. Declare defeat now and get it over with. Throw up an iron curtain around the shining city on the hill. For those of us who sought to come to the land of opportunity and make it on our own, that dream is gone. Kerry has been offically endorsed by the Communist Pary and Al Gezera. Al Gezera (Jezeera)?!?!?!? The ENEMY endorses this communist!! Michael Moore may as well be our dictator. America, the next Cuba in the western hemisphere with Mike Moore as our leader....WTMFH?????

The message I recieved in prayer is that politics and the future of America is not as important as the knowledge of one man or woman learning about what Jesus did for them. It was heart breaking in way because I love America and what it once stood for, but it makes sense. Whether America is free or communist, the after world is free, so why waist time swimming up stream in a polical deluge when there are plenty of lost souls to save.

Ok, good bye America. Good bye "land of the free." Welcome land of the enslaved to government provided health care, housing, everything. It is a tough transition to make. I can't imagine how it is to old folks like LadyFish who have seen many more years of a free America than me (just kidding lady fish, I hope you know I love you terribly.) JFK would NEVER vote for Kerry. JFK was like Reagan, who said that he never left the democratic party, the democratic party left him. He said that when he was paying 93% income tax. 93%?!?!?!? ONLY PW2 could think that was equitable. Domini.domini domini. America is as dead as George Washington, Ben Franklin, Madison, et al.

Re: I am ashamed

The thing about freedom and democracy is that people are allowed, even encouraged, to have differing points of view. Even yours, SW, as delusional and misguided as it may be.

I know that is ucomfortable for you. Eventually, you will get the hang of it.

Well, you should be ashamed, SW.

You are free, of course, to say what you think, even to sling some mud and wild fantasies.

That kind of defeatist whining could well become a self fulfilling prophesy. It will cetainly win no souls.

The truth will be enough to defeat the "Let me take care of you because you can't do it yourself." left. We don't need mud slinging and wild exaggerations. They cheapen the process.

Re: I am ashamed

SW,

Souls are earned and not bought. If each of us save two souls and they two souls, and on and on, we defeat the communist influence that is now the democratic party. We are not all George Washington or Martin Luther King, and nor should we be. True vision and leadership is an elusive attribute.

We may not all be able to change the world through the national prism, but the foot soilders of the free know that it is by how we live our lives, share our gifts, and provide an example for those who think that others can run their lives better than themselves, is the best way to influence people into believing in themselves and further foster what it means to be free and an American.

Politics is a quagmier, and a dirty busness. Our forefathers sought to limit government for just this reason. Yes, we have forgot this, but politics is a pendulum, and it will swing back either incrementally or dynamically. Buying votes can only last so long and if you keep providing the example of self reliance and charity to those who deserve it, you will be doing more than any speech, at any convention. ;)

Buck up ole boy, the fat lady hasn't sung yet. It has been a well orchestrated, incremental march but they haven't won yet. And pssst!, they won't win this time either.

To quote PW2's most favorite public figure, Rush Limbaugh, the left gets the shrillest and most outlandish, when they are out of power. Under the veneer, created by the Ted Kennedy's, Tom Daschles, Michael Moores, et al, and illuminated by the media, America has been sliding decidedly to the right. (I mean that both politically and morally)

Since 1994, the Left has lost more and more legislative and executive power at state and federal levels. We do have the issue with the left leaning judiciary, but that is coming more and more to the forefront and I think will be dealt with in time. CNN is practically on it's ear and has lost huge ground to the more realistic Fox News.

Keep the faith. In the end, it is true what you say that counts the most but don't give up the good fight.

Don't give up. When they have been placed under the boot, they will need us to remove that boot from their neck.

I don't care what lime light they want. As long as they leave me alone and understand that I bite.

You know what former pres BJ Bill would say to that Lubedude.....
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"time on your knees is better spent under my desk"!! :D  :D  :D

Seriously though....I find that once in a while I need a break from listening to the news, reading the political threads here and so on. All the crap that goes on here (meaning the US, not iboats) and around the world can get you down if you concentrate on it too much. Take a break from it.....worry about your own little world for a while and you'll be ready to do it all over again.

It's just all bad....

The wacko politicians, both R & D, who make themselves into outlandish charicters with a cause seem to get the most press...

Don't waste your ministry SW...

SW,
Remember to keep the main thing the main thing. Focus on the real race and run with determination to win for only the winner receives the prize at the end. Politics is merely "noisome pestilence" PS91 read for yourself.
In His Service

Re: I am ashamed

Snapper, to some degree I agree with you.

There are indeed troubling aspects to virtually every politician on either side.

As far as Rush goes, I used to be able to listen to him--but he spins so much now it gets me dizzy.

this thread kind of illustrates it all--and all the nonsensical rhetoric accusing the dems of being commies and what have you. Based upon nothing but a make-believe politcal positions by make believe "liberals" by supposed entertainers (I don't know what else to call him) like Rush and others.

The only thing real about Rush is the description of his listeners as "Ditto Heads" Nothing could say it better!

Re: I am ashamed

Ok PW2,

This is the fourth time in the past couple of weeks I have asked this question, what is the difference between todays democrats and

A: a socialist

B: a communist

Todays modern and progressive democratic party believes that we "should contribute based on our abilities and recieve based upon our needs". -Hillary Clinton. This is communism.

Todays modern and progressive democratic party believes in partial birth abortion, this by anyone's standard is a barbaric and disgusting snuffing out of a life, and is nothing more than social engineering for the wealthy.

Todays modern and progressive democratic party believes that we should have the government take over 20% of the GNP, they call it socialized medicine, oops the national health care program.

Taxation by anyones standard is the reduction of freedom, and we all know how they love to tax things.

Regulating what type of vehicle we can drive, unless you are JFK through manufacturing regulation, reduction of property rights through the endangered species act, lying and changing history after the fact is a famous communist tactic, Licence everything to track the movements of the population, Tax your car, house, dog, food, gas, boat, phone, tv, internet, real estate, and on and on and on.. Not real American.

Assuming the role of the parent by handing out condoms and homosexual training in the grade schools and up, government day care, government food programs, school breakfast lunch and now dinner programs, mind control through the pc laws, thought police with hate crimes.

Reduction or elimination of religion except for political purposes, allowing for outside governance through the UN and the World Court. Class warfare, race baiting, sexual discrimination (against men), "ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL" Where is Sandy Burgler and the top secret documents he stuck down his pants????

I will not say the Republicans are much better, other than their rhetoric, but to call the democratic platform anything but socialist on the conservative side and communist on the broader side is just not honest.

Re: I am ashamed

I can answer that one!!!

ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!!!!

The sad part about it is that they do not realize it. If you ask them if they are communist, they would say, "ARE YOU NUTS"! But there beleifs are the same. The Government can do it better than you can.

Re: I am ashamed

RR's tax cuts and gross spending left us a huge deficit... This weakend the country with slow economic growth, and left the US as the worlds largest debtor... Were it not for Clinton proposing to pay that down, and the republican controled congress holding him to it, where would we be today????

Cutting taxes, borrowing, and spending what we do not have, with no plan to pay it back.... How does this make us strong?.... "Reaganomics" It's already been proven that this type of economic plan does not work...

What happens when there is no more to borrow?

PS.. Lubey.. I'll take that straight jacket now... Kicking and screaming please... :p
