I just changed motors and the new one (115 johnson) does not have hydrofoils, should I transfer the ones from my old motor(65 johnson)? Or just run it without first to check performance?
With that much more power I really doubt that you will need the foils. Just make sure the boat is properly loaded and the motor mounted and trimmed properly.
