Started watching at lap 32. Looks like I didn't miss much. How did Chase spin? Only 1 caution?

Chase spun Spectacularly, he did the same thing Johnson did the other night and took the nose to ground in the grass

What did Gordon have to say, anything out of the ordinary.... Could you hear frustration?

I don't pay much attention to the announcers because Darryl talks!

Basically he simply said, he hated to see that happen to Chase(but under his breath, I know what he was saying) and it can't be posted on here!

I gotta say that was a finish. 20 wreck free laps to end it and Hamlin wins by a splitter.over Truex.

Urea 24 takes the first iboats race. Pending official results of course.

Give Kenseth credit for not wrecking the whole field. He did a great job controlling what could have been a disaster.

Congrats to Urea 24, starts the season with a win (pending post race inspections).

I think Kenseth hit a bone. :D

He made a great save and right up front, too. It would have ranked up there with the biggest Big Ones cuz the whole field was bunched up except for the couple in the garage.

Caught the end ... closest Daytona I ever saw! Way cool finish ... won by an inch ... really rooting for Truex to pull it off, and I thought he did ... he was ahead 20 feet in front of the line and 20 feet after the line, but at the line, where it matters most, he was ............ that close! Congrats Urea

Musky, My understanding is, if the leader can make it to the line and then the yellow is waved, the leader is the race winner. If the leader doesn't make it to the line and the yellow is waved they do it all over again.

I'm really glad I was able to record the race. Allowed me to cut out 2 plus hours of commercials and fix the issue of no tail lights on my Suburban.

Overall the race was very dull IMHO. Daytona Rising may have benefits for the fans that attended and the drivers safety but did little for the viewer. My .05.
