I just got a Humminbird matrix 97,hooked it up with gps but the gps doesnt show up is there a setting that i have to turn on for the gps to work?read the manul an it doesnt say much about gps.Anything helps.Thanks.
If its in simulation mode i don`t think it will display gps, i think It has to be in normal operation mode with the transducer plugged in for it to display gps. This is the way my 17 works. hpoe this helps.
On my 798 I have to enable "advanced" menu then the option to turn "GPS Output" on is at the bottom of one of those menus. I'm not familiar with that unit but they don't have the signal running to the gps wire out of the box. Did you hook up the right wire?
