 huh? That quotation was from the judge, not RL or his lawyer. :D

Of course, you'dd probably have to read SOME of the PDF i linked to to begin to understand it, but suit yourself.

Why would they ask to see the judge's medical records?

Sorry, but the words "open court" do not appear in the PDF file you linked. Neither do the words "I have no idea"

I havn't read or reseached the story yet. But based on what has been reported here on the forum, I would agree that the story (LA Times)in true also. Its a story, not a fact. Did the pentagon report that it was a fact or just a story that is obviuosly common knowledge?????

Read my post above PW... "Military has admitted providing "Good News"." They handed over these stories to the press. They DID NOT admit paying for these stories to be run.

What's that about try again??
;)

Re: Hows the Libby inditement coming along?

I heard they did indeed admit they were paying for stories. The details are not yet clear to me, at least.

Like the 100 million dollar pentagon contract with a Repub campaign cronie to translate and plant the stories.

It will be one thing if the stories are indeed true, and another if they are completely fabricated. That part is not precisely clear to me, although 100 million seems a bit excessive I would think.

Ok, the story has changed... somewhat
You sort of got me...

U.S. military officials in Iraq said articles had been offered and published in Iraqi newspapers "as a function of buying advertising and opinion/editorial space, as is customary in Iraq."
The rest HERE

The story just posted this morning.

Sorry the thread got hijacked OJ.

The latest being the 100 million dollar pentagon contract to plant fake news stories in Iraqi papers.
Can you give an example of the aledged fake plants.

Citizens here buy pages from news papers all the time explain their side of the story. Free country. The us gov. has the right to see THAT THEIR SIDE OF THE STORY IS TOLD. Sorry for the upper case.

We certainly can count of the media left to report it. example:
