I think it can be fixed. Sometimes I think people give up to easily. But, I always root for the underdog.
I've got a bit of fiberglass experience but by no means am I an expert but I'm thinking at least a very wide biaxial tape and lots of fairing.
And yeah, I'd try it if the asking price was right. If I had to sink a bunch of money into the purchase, nope. But, if they realized that, yeah, it only has 10 hours but it's a broke back boat, then I'd try. Speaking of, might have to make a cradle to straighten the old sway back girl out. From the pictures it looks like she might have a bit of twist going on.
If I hadn't just cut the back end off my boat today, I'd be over to help.
