Is it possible to tell the year from the serial and model number of the inboard motor and leg ?

Year of what? More infn the transom should be a group of letters and #s.That should have the year included in it.Usually the last 2 or three will have the year. Jerry

The Boat's year can be ID'ed as Jerry says,....

As for the Motor,+ Drive,..??..?? Who's is it,..??..??

According to the info i have on this boat it is a 1979 Campion, i can not find a serial number on this boat i have talked to Campion they said it was not uncommon for them to have hidden the serial number underneath the trim and have dismantle part to get at it, The motor is an OMC Model 980703 Serial W67219

A 1979 would be a Stringer Drive,....

What Bond-o means is you better have a thick wallet, parts can be expensive compared to a merc or volvo. Its an out dated drive....bottom line.
