for my boat a 14' Chrysler how would i make it a self bailing cockpit. would like to do lobstering with this boat and a self bailing **** put would be nice.
In the RC boat world there is a device called an auto bailer. Perhaps there is a larger version for full size boats. It only works when the boat is under way.
Self bailing cockpits have a sole (floor) higher than the waterline. Holes in the transom allow any water entering the cockpit to drain out by gravity.
If your current boat has a floor lower than the waterline you're out of luck.
