The real test beguins after you take some "friends" out. Can you buy and serve all the drinks? Can you supply and serve all the munchies? Can you find a Jack In The Potty every five minutes, because they diden't go before you left? Can you buy all the fuel, because if you can afford a boat you must be rich? Most of all, when you get back, can you do all the clean up, because they are all to tired from a full day of boating?
